Help can't lose weight !





So my wife has been trouble losing weight she had my daughter 2 years ago and can't lose weight at all .... she has calorie counted dropped the dairy dropped the bread sugars. Everything eating clean working out 5 times a week she is active around the house but she is stuck at 160-165lb help!!

If she is under much stress, this could be causing her the reasons for not begin able to lose much more weight. Her body is probably in 'fight or flight 'syndrome constantly which means that proper digestion and energy utilization becomes limited. she needs to try and find some time to herself to relax/meditate so that her body can get back into optimal functioning. Someone mentioned intermittent fasting. More and more research is showing this to be a successful way for a lot of people to obtain a healthier weight and maintain it. It has even been shown to help slow down aging and improve blood lipid levels etc. you can look into the 5:2 diet. She also needs to stop focusing on her weight all the time and just relax more around foods. The main issue is if the body can be free of chronic stress, then everything else generally falls into place and the body will find it's natural healthy zone.
If you're still having issues, it's due to your body and the metabolism reaching a standstill, dieting gets to a certain stage where it stops working.
May I suggest carb cycling, this is more useful when working out.
